The change calendar provides a graphical overview of the tasks that are scheduled to be completed in the near future, as well as the tasks that were recently completed. When two tasks overlap in the change calendar and they are assigned to the same member or linked to the same service instances (or to service instances that have a direct or indirect impact relation with each other in the service hierarchy) they are presented in yellow to indicate that there is a possible assignment conflict.
In organizations that have many open workflows, the amount of potential conflicting tasks can be quite large. To help change managers get an easier overview of the open workflows, a second view has been added to the ‘Change Calendar’ view which is accessible from the Analytics console: Change Calendar without Conflicts. Here, none of the possibly conflicting tasks are shown.
