It was already possible to specify the email address used in the From field of emails sent by 4me to the customers of an organization. Now it is also possible to configure the Reply to field for the outbound email service.
The reason why an account administrator would want to set this to an email address of the account, instead of the default ‘4me’ address, is for phishing awareness. Although replies to such emails are directed to the correct addresses, users may be confused when they reply to an email coming from ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’ and then see ‘email@example.com’ in the header.
The Reply to email address field has been added to the ‘Email Policy’ section of the Settings console.
