Today is a big day for Service Integration and Management (SIAM). The results of the Global SIAM Survey 2020 have just been released. This year was the third time Scopism conducted this annual survey and 4me is proud to have been able to sponsor it for the second time. These annual surveys inform our industry about the adoption of SIAM around the globe.
Scopism could not have done this study without the more than 350 people who submitted their responses. We want to thank them all for sharing their experience and insights, which help the entire SIAM community get a better sense of the progress organizations are making with SIAM.
What stood out for me in this year’s SIAM survey is the desire to improve collaboration between suppliers. At 83%, this even exceeds the ‘Better supplier performance’ objective. Also, the flexibility goal ‘Easier to add and remove suppliers’ saw a significant increase compared to last year, which seems to suggest a willingness to use SIAM reporting to justify consequential measures.
